We are a small company with an established client base that includes several Fortune 500 companies looking for highly talented Bilingual Internet Research Analyst with a unique set of interdisciplinary skills and knowledge. We currently have open positions for individuals fluent in Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese who can translate not only the languages listed into English, but also help us understand the nuances of culture as expressed through language.

 

Our team is currently staffed with highly-skilled individuals who are directly or indirectly leveraged on a project-by-project basis. Although the Bilingual Internet Research Analyst will have access to the team’s resources, the expectation is that the candidate can complete an assignment from start to finish without supervision. The ideal candidate for our Bilingual Internet Research Analyst position will have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Research predefined subjects via the Internet;
  • Evaluate sources of information for accuracy and originality;
  • Collect data from various sources based on preset rules;
  • Write briefs and notes on key findings;
  • Participate in the analysis and interpretation of data by putting the information collected into a regional context;
  • Communicate project findings to coworkers to leverage their insights;
  • Continuously re-evaluate their own data collection process for optimization.

 

Requirements:

Candidate must have native or near-native knowledge (read/write is the must) of one of the following languages:

  • Arabic
  • Chinese (speak Mandarin and read/write Simplified)
  • Hindi (Modern Standard Hindi)
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish
  • Russian
  • Vietnamese

 

Candidate must be able to provide cultural and social insights into the Internet landscape in their respective language.

 

Candidate must be able to translate that language into written English for consumption by native English speakers.

 

Other requirements:

  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new abstract and/or highly technical concepts;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related fields (equivalent in work experience will also be considered);
  • Excellent Internet-based research skills (must be familiar with search operators for the most popular search engines);
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access;
  • Well-developed problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
  • Understanding of web technologies and database management;
  • A basic understanding of programing and/or system administration would be beneficial.

 

Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, or be willing to relocate to the area at his/her own cost.
